Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Remote Customer Service Representative to join their customer support team. Day to day, you will respond to customer inquiries, update account information, and resolve routine issues across phone, email, and digital support systems. The role suits someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in clear communication, handles confidential information carefully, and communicates proactively when customer concerns need additional attention.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and online chat using established service procedures
• Enter and update customer information in databases and support systems
• Provide accurate information about products, services, account details, and company policies
• Review customer concerns and resolve routine issues within established guidelines
• Process customer requests, account updates, and service adjustments as authorized
• Track customer interactions and maintain accurate case notes and follow-up records
• Identify unresolved or complex concerns and escalate them to appropriate team members
• Follow established confidentiality, account verification, and information handling procedures
• Assist with follow-up communications to confirm customer concerns have been addressed
• Communicate with team members to meet service goals and maintain a consistent customer experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or administrative support preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Comfort using customer support software, digital communication tools, and online databases
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to remain patient, professional, and solution-focused during customer interactions
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
