The intern will gain audio and digital experience in public media broadcasting and news content as well as complete the internship with a varied portfolio. Hours are flexible and work may be hybrid - a blend of remote and in-office work. In summary, this individual will:Assist with research, drafting, and proofing news contentConduct interviews and cover news to help create content for on-air and digital platformsActively participate in broadcast projectsPerform various ad hoc projects as assignedWhat you'll need:Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a communications, marketing, journalism, or related field*Familiarity and general interest in audio production and its digital distribution, community journalism, reaching underserved populationsBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office or similar programsCreative, approachable, team-focused, professional demeanorWhy BTPM?Because we're awesome!
